So what do you guys think about it?
Surely looked like a penalty to me,first off the his hands were in air and secondly i didnt watch the whole game, but I heard there were more questionable momments...

Ya it was a good game. Essien's goal was a phenomenal goal off a volley. There were some questionable calls throughout the game, especially the Red card that sent off Barcelona's LB. So they are now with out there RB and LB for the Finals.

I only got to watch the first half, so I can really only comment on it - Essien's goal was beautiful (and very lucky). From what I've read it looks like Chelsea's got a legitimate beef.

BTW how hard is it really to spell Chelsea and Barcelona?

That referee was REALLY bad.
He made many mistakes in obvious situations.
I haven't seen a bad referee like him before.
Any of you guys noticed poor Drogba? What a faker.

I think the referee did a good job in the first half, but the second half was full of errors on his side. The red card and not giving a penalty for Chelsea when Pique commited hands are some examples.
I'm quite happy that Barcelona is in the final, especially after this dramatic draw.
Oh, and a superb goal from Essien of course. Rivals with Zidane's goal from that Champions League final.

I usually root for Chelsea but I like Barca as well so didn't mind if either of them won. The problem is Chelsea dominated that match and Essien's goal was once in a life time thing.

The refs sometimes make mistakes but not 5-6 obvious errors that I could see on TV without slow replay and the red card was totally wrong because he just tripped and wasn't even touched.

it sucks for Chelsea the way they went out. Even the 93 min goal was once in a lifetime thing for Barca.

I really don't want Man U to win (with Barca not having any of their main defenders)

I was laughing my ass off when Ballack was chasing the referee with his arms around him and then Drogba after. It would've been good for Chelsea to get a revenge but I sure hope Barca can pull a win now.

First off i don't think any of the penalty shouts were penalties, even if they were given who said they would score them, Barcelona deserved it and after what Drogba did at the end of the match he should be banned for rest of the season.

Damn that is harsh. I say suspended for a game or two but not the rest of the season. A game or two at this point in the Premiership will be more then enough punishment for Drogba and Chelsea.

Ballack and Drogba should be banned from next years champions league

I'm not being biased here, their behaviour was absolutely shocking. Screaming and shouting like children, even the average guru poster behaves better than that. I can understand being upset and complaining, even complaining to UEFA about the quality of the referee but their behavior was bordering on assault.

Ban Ballack and Drogba? Folks that is extremely harsh. Yes what they did was uncalled for. They never should have done that. Ballack did touch the ref and chase him around, and touching the ref is a huge no-no. It was uncalled for but had it happened to Barcelona they probably would have been doing the same thing. It was a heated game and losing their lead in the stoppage time was heartbreaking for them. I don't think they should be banned for next season's Champions League. I think a suspension and a fine should suffice.
